Spellcheckanywhere 4.5 has a copyright protection feature that require users to obtain a new “unlock code” from TG Enterprises each time it's installed on a new or different computer. Without the new unlock code Spellcheckanywhere will not function after the free trial period has expired. TG Enterprises states on their website that they will provide new unlock codes free of charge to licensed users when they change computers.
After purchasing Spellcheckanywhere I bought a new computer and requested a new unlock code. I have submitted my request to TG Enterprises four times offering proof of purchase, but to this date I have received no response from them.
I think it's fine that TG Enterprises wants to protect their products from unlicensed use, but by preventing licensed customers from using their product by refuse to provide the needed unlock code; it's their customers who are being ripped-off.
NOTE: This review was sent to TG Enterprises with a letter stating if they didn't reply within four days it would be posted on websites reviewing their product; they did not respond.
